Super Wedding Photography in Telford
Where to start with this one !!
I knew for a long time that this one was going to be fun. The effervescent Korina, and gentleman Sam, were just so looking forward to their big day at Hadley Park House Hotel in Telford.
Korina's Greek family were coming over, and I was asked if I would photograph some of the traditional Greek dancing after their 1st Dance. Well, I always stop on for a bit of party action anyway, but this was a definite "yes", as it was always going to be fun !.
In fact, when I arrived with Korina at the usual 2 1/2 hours before the ceremony, I was met by three of her family members already dancing in the room where she was getting ready, so that was to become the theme of the day.!
As has been the norm this year, sunshine and showers were the order of the day, with some concerns about getting outside. As you know, I am mostly lucky with weather at weddings, and this one worked out well too. Just enough sunshine and breeze at the right time, to get everything done in the dry outside.
The enthusiasm from family and guests to make the day great was helpful to say the least, which made the job much easier.
From her father proudly walking Korina down the aisle, the family groups, the bride and groom photography, everything went well, with laughter (and dancing) overcoming any language issues.
All in all, a terrific day, which peaked just after the 1st Dance, with a good half hour of Greek music and dancing. Some "unique" solo performances, some as groups, but I have to say, her brother Konstantinos undoubtedly won the dancing, with some serious moves !!
