Lucy & Matt - Hadley Park Wedding Day
Back to Hadley Park House Hotel in Telford for the wedding of Lucy & Matt ..
Lovely couple, with a delightful (and very co-operative) daughter, and a fun family on a sunny day, where their flowergirl almost stole the show !
Start with the Lucy (2½ hours before the ceremony), meet Matt and the boys an hour before, plenty of candids, guests arriving, room and venue to be photographed, plus all those important details, its a busy time !
The ceremony began with my old mate Rick Cosco (known as Rick Sax) walking down the aisle playing the saxophone with his usual panache - a really stylish start to the ceremony, with the flowergirls and bridesmaid following behind - and finally a very proud father and our beautiful bride ..
A few tears and eye wipes later, everything went smoothly with their own personal vows at the end, plus a good celebratory kiss to finish.
Signing done (with flowergirl daughter, obviously), get outside with me hanging out of a window for the big group shot, a good confetti throw, then time for everyone to have a 10 minute breather and drinkies, before a speedy 20 minute session of groups.
Where couples have children, I always try to add a little family shoot on top of the couple's personal photographs, as a little bonus, even if done after the Wedding Breakfast, as it gives them all a little quiet "together" time as well, away from the celebrations.
Time for everyone to relax and enjoy friends and family before the build up to the cake cut and 1st Dance around 8pm - Good effort from Lucy and Matt here, with a few twirls thrown in for good measure.
All in all yet another super day at Hadley Park, with a lovely couple, fun people, and Rick on the saxophone for a few hours keeping everyone entertained.
